I don't know about every one else but I have tried the social networking thing. I hear so much about it, so many good things. Everyone is always talking about myspace and facebook. I decided it was finally time to step out of the stone ages and sign up. What I found on both sites is.....kids. Not that there is anything wrong with kids. I have them myself but I am trying to avoid communicating with them via their wall on Facebook. After looking around a little I found a social website for grown ups. Cafe Mom was launched in 2006. It's the largest social networking community site for moms. This site is passing sites like ivillage, nartha stewart and babycenter. On this site Mom's connect on shared interest, challenges, passions and local geography. Cafe Mom is a great site for work from home or stay at home Moms. it's absolutely free to join, You feel supported and help support other moms too. It's a fun website. I have been a member for about a year. I have met so many interesting people that i am proud to call friends. If you have a business you can advertise on Cafe Mom. There are plenty of women out there looking to do something from home. Maybe you could help them with your knowledge or they can help you with theirs. It's win win and fun to join.
